Mike Turner : Director

BSc (Geology) MSc (Engineering Geology) CEng MICE
Member, British Geotechnical Association
Fellow, Geological Society

In the course of a career wholly devoted to engineering geology and geotechnical engineering Mike has accumulated enormous experience in the technology, design and installation of all forms of piling and ground anchorages and their optimisation in varying ground and site conditions. On the basis of this experience he has developed an incisive, practical approach to problem solving in these fields, benefiting consultants, contractors and equipment manufacturers alike.

He is regularly retained as an expert witness and expert advisor. He has published widely, including sole authorship of CIRIA and TRL reports, and for many years has been a recognised UK expert in both non-destructive pile testing and in soil and rock support systems.
