In a career spanning over thirty years, John has gained unusually wide ranging experience in ground engineering. He is a specialist in ground anchors and grouting, and is an acknowledged expert in all forms of piling. His expertise has benefited many of the more intractable construction projects of the recent past, including Broadgate, Canary Wharf, the Globe Theatre, Docklands Light Railway, The Guildhall and the A1(M) tunnel at Hatfield.

He is, above all, a practical engineer and has instigated significant developments in piling and ground anchor technology. John's wealth of hands-on and design experience currently leads to many commissions where a novel approach, authoritative advice or arbitration is required. He has acted as expert witness on a number of occasions.
